In early June, the SIMERG participated in the iWorkinSport fair, held in Lausanne, Switzerland. This event, recognized as one of the leading job fairs in the sports industry, provided an excellent opportunity for students and professionals to connect with important organizations in the sector, such as FIBA, World Aquatics, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The visit was coordinated by Professor Tiago Ribeiro, who led the students of the GOALS - Erasmus Mundus Master in Sport Management program at the fair. Participation in iWorkinSport allowed students to interact with representatives from major sports entities, expanding their networks and gaining valuable insights into the dynamics and demands of the sports job market. During their stay in Lausanne, the students also had the opportunity to visit the Olympic Museum and the IOC headquarters, further enriching their experience.
